4 miles. ?? minutes. ??:?? pace.

This may have been the fastest run of the year, but sadly I was so flustered that I forgot to check my start time.

Why were you flustered, you may ask. A little inspiration from the widely-hailed Ben. Since it was a little racy, I won’t quote him here, but it had a lot to do with the physical attractiveness of female runners. And boy were my cheeks red. But I want to say, I do realize that becoming a chauvinistic ideal is not a healthy reason to run; it doesn’t hurt as occassional motivation, though.

Anyway, the tendon directly above my left ankle bone (on the outside of my leg) began to twinge between 2.5 and 3. I think it’s the road camber. Running this same route in the same direction for the last few weeks has put too much stress on my left leg. As much as I don’t like running this route the other direction, I may have to start alternating. Or I could just plot a new route, but that requires work.
