I’m not going to give you all the reason I haven’t been running or exercising the last couple of weeks.

I’ll tell you that the weather was spectaculartoday and I decided to go as far as I could and come back. I didn’t jog the whole time due to some discomfort from my lunch (which stayed lodged just under my diaphragm). And I found out that the only down side to doing this type of run is that once you get to your furthest point, you don’t want to get back.

Anyway, I haven’t mapped this, and I didn’t dare time it. This week starts a crash course in half-marathon training!
